Anniversary Hike! 2012

We went on our Annual Anniversary Hike to the top of Timp.

Lanny and Melinda celebrate their anniversary in August too, so we begged them to hike to the top with us. Let's just say Melinda is an animal. We thought it would be funny to show her a short cut to take that all newbies think is good. It's a killer for most people, NOT Melinda. She continued to kick our tails!

The back of Timp. The flowers were amazing. To bad we were in such a hurry that we couldn't stop and enjoy it. We like to see how fast we can make it to the top. "Joy in the journey" not for us!

We made it to the top, not in record speed though. I guess we were having an off day!

We stopped and had a little brunch on this cliff.

We did stop for a picture on the way down.

I love hiking Timp, it is one of the highlights of my summer.

The latest

Halle got her braces off a few weeks ago.

Her friend Brytan also got her braces off at the same time.

Fisher was baptized. It was fun teasing him with the girls. He has 4 boys in his family and no girls!

Jason likes to get comfortable after church stuff. He had his suit off before the closing prayer.

We also went to the blessing of Harlow. She is the baby of Joe and Rindy. She is adorable.

We had a back to school BBQ with my moms neighborhood. It was a huge hit.

Jason made the center fold of a hunting magazine. Jason helped his friend Mike shoot this monster buck!

I drug my friends up to Timp Cave a few times. I became obsessed with the pretty leafs and couldn't stop begging them to hike to the cave. I even bought a pass up the canyon so I wouldn't have to stop at the ranger station.

In my spare time I sell suckers with some of my friends at Hunter's jr. high. It is for the PTA. We don't get a red cent, but we do get to spy on our kids and check out some of the freak show going on at the school.
