Gotta Get Through This
The cutest teacher in the world-JAMIE!
She is moving to New Mexico with her little family. She is the BEST teacher and the best example for my girls. We already miss her. We love her so much. This was taken at Hunter's first dance recital when she was 4 years old.

This is Hunter and Jamie today. Thanks for teaching my girls to love dance and how to be a great person.

Miss Halle has had Jamie for the last 2 years. We wish that Halle could have had her longer but we wont complain. (OK, we will only complain a little)

Oh yeah- We are swimmers

Hunter and Halle's came home from school a few weeks ago and said their friends were trying out for swim team. So, the girls decided to try out too! Yeah, they made the swim team.

Hunter's friends

The girls were very nervous about the meet, but they did awesome.

Hunter even dove off the starting block. The fact that she couldn't even get across the pool 2 weeks ago and now she is jumping in the pool is a major miracle. Hallelujah

Halle has a hidden talent that we just found last night, she is an awesome swimmer. She placed 2nd in all of her races. WOW!
Jason thinks that we should quit dancing, gymnastics, and piano and focus on swimming. Whatever!

Going out on the town

These are the fun ladies I hang out with. We like to splurge every once in a while and go out to lunch and get .49 cent tacos. Margot printed off some coupons for free tacos at Dell Taco so we went there and partied. It was fun!

Jason goes out to lunch with Margot's husband (Terri) and Shirlene's husband (Matt) every once in awhile, do you think they go to Dell Taco? I don't think so!

Last days of school!

Hunter received her "Reading Across America" awards. Lets just say we crammed the last two weeks of the month. We were on a first name basis with the Librarian. This is not the Highland City Librarian that helped Hunter receive her award, this is Mrs. Baker her 4th grade teacher. She was a great teacher. Why- because she loved all the same TV shows as me. JK. She really was a great teacher.

This is Hunter receiving her award. What a proud moment, for the Hawkins family and the Highland City Librarian.

This is Miss Halle waiting to perform at the dance festival. Having the video camera around my neck and my other camera on my arm can be kind of embarrassing for a cute 1st grader, when her mom is yelling "smile for the camera baby".

Hunter waiting for her performance.
I was running around the field trying to get the best shot. I had 2 command post- one on the North side of the soccer field and one on the South side. I didn't want to miss a shot.
