Happy Mothers Day!

The girls made me cute Mother's Day gifts. Halle made me a cute poem at school and Hunter made a bottle of soap. There is nothing I love more then being Hunters and Halles mom.
They make me happy every day! Thanks for a great mothers day.

Kids are so smart!

The girls got up early Wednesday morning before school and came in my room. I had the T.V. on and was listening to the Today Show. They were showing the inappropriate pictures of Hannah Montana right as my kids came in the room. Halle was very frustrated with H.M. she told me the reason she was wearing inappropriate clothing is because her mom didn't tell what size she wore so she had to wear a sheet. Good thinking Halle!

Dance Competition

Hunter had another dance competition this weekend. I have to say that I loved every minute of it! This is Hunter and her dance teacher Jamie. Hunter and all the girls LOVE Jamie. Hunter has been taking from Jamie for 4 years. Could she be any cuter?

This is their "Let Them Be Little" group. They are so cute. I love watching this dance it makes me tear up every time they perform this dance.

This is one of Hunters good friends Kennedi. They love running around together.

Baby Vela's Sealing.

Vela Katoa was sealed to her parents this weekend. We are so happy to have Vela in our family. Vela is such a sweet and happy baby. Yeah for the Katoa's.

Spring Break

Jason decided we were going to Southern Utah for Spring Break, not St. George but Kanab. (If you didn't know he will be hunting down there next October.) So, we (he) decided that it would be fun a family vacation. It was! We stayed one night in Kanab and the other night at Ruby's Inn. We stayed a full 48 hours on vacation. That is pretty good for the Hawkins.

Hunter, Halle and Cole drove the 4 wheeler around the campground. I'm sure all the other campers were thrilled. We found the Westcott's camping out and decided to hang out with them for the afternoon.

Hunter decided on this trip that she is going to be a photographer when she grows up.

Halle was getting ready for preschool. She asked what I thought they would learn at school. I told her that I didn't know. I said to just go in and give your teacher a big hug. She said that she would give her teacher a hug and Cooper (a cute boy in her class) a little wink.

I obviously haven't had the talk with her about "playing hard to get" maybe that is what we will discuss tonight for FHE !

My kids got style!

Sweet little Halle loves to dress up and dance around with her friends. She gets her sense of style from her dad, and her dancing ability from her mom (I hope).
