Hunters Baptism

Halle can't wait to get baptized. She even has the "Rainbow" song memorized so that when she turns 8 she can sing it at her baptism.
Hunters baptism turned out great. She was so excited to be baptized. She said that receiving the Holy Ghost was like having a birthday. We are very proud of her. Hunter is a great example to her sister.

I had some pictures taken last month of Hunter and Halle. I wanted some pictures of Hunter in her baptism dress, then I thought Halle needed her picture taken too. These are a few of the pictures. I love Hunters smile, but Katie (the lady that took the pictures) had her look serious. The girls had a lot of fun getting their pictures taken.

Halle

Halle did a great job getting her pictures taken. She listened and did everything Katie told her to do. I was wondering if Katie could come to our house for an hour a day while Halle is doing her jobs.

Halle is such a fun girl and she makes me laugh every day!

Hunter Turns 8 (Continued)

As Hunter's dad, I wanted to add a few things that I love about Hunter:

21. Hunter has a wonderful sense of humor.
22. She loves animals (even though we will never have any pets).
23. She loves to eat crepes for breakfast and frequently keeps track of how many she can down in one sitting.
24. She has a smile that lights up the entire room.
25. She reminds me of my beautiful wife!

Hunter Turns 8!

My little girl is turning 8 on May 15th, I can't believe it. These are a few of my favorite things about Hunter:

1. She is grumpy in the morning just like her mom.

2. She loves projects, give her a piece of paper and glue and she will make a masterpiece.

3. If you give Hunter a book to read she wont put it down until she is finished.

4. Hunter can make friends with anyone.

5. Hunter is a good big sister.

6. Hunter likes to sing, lets pray she gets some talent from her dads side of the family.

7. Hunter is a good teacher. When Halle is reading and I get frustrated Hunter will come in and save the day.

8. Hunter LOVES dance. What would I do if she didn't.

9. Hunter will write down different "lists" and organize things. I love it!

10. Hunter is a good friend.

11. She likes to make cards for people.

12. Hunter loves to get the mail to see if she has received any letters.

13. Hunter likes her nails done.

14. Hunter likes her hair done.

15. Hunter likes to match her sisters clothes.

16. Hunter wont eat anything I make.

17. Hunter will eat peanut and strawberry jam sandwiches.

18. Hunter loves to cuddle.

19. Hunter can clean the bathrooms perfectly.

20. Hunter has chosen to be baptized this month.

Happy Mothers Day!

The girls made me cute Mother's Day gifts. Halle made me a cute poem at school and Hunter made a bottle of soap. There is nothing I love more then being Hunters and Halles mom.
They make me happy every day! Thanks for a great mothers day.

Kids are so smart!

The girls got up early Wednesday morning before school and came in my room. I had the T.V. on and was listening to the Today Show. They were showing the inappropriate pictures of Hannah Montana right as my kids came in the room. Halle was very frustrated with H.M. she told me the reason she was wearing inappropriate clothing is because her mom didn't tell what size she wore so she had to wear a sheet. Good thinking Halle!
