For Better or Worse

This is our beautiful front yard. This is how it looked until Jason went crazy with the weed killer.

He sprayed every single weed, dandylion, and clover in our yard. He was so proud of himself until . . he looked at the spray and realized it was ROUND-UP. Round-up kills everything weeds and grass. He looked like he was going to fall over and die when he realized what he had done. I almost rolled over and died too!

This is another view of our backyard.

This is another view of our yard. The kids think it looks like a map of the Hawaiin Islands. They've never been to Hawaii but they have seen it on a Hannah Montanna.

This is my garage. I am so happy right now. I have been wanting to clean this thing out for months. I love, love, love clean garages. Jason even went through his hunting shelves and threw a broken cott away. We threw away old paint, hunting targets and more. Yeah!

It took us about 2 hours, and it was the best 2 hours of the Summer! Yeah, I love my husband.

I have now forgiven Jason for destroying my yard! We may even watch a huntning show tonight for fun.

Happy Birthday Halle

Halle turned 6 June 26th. She is getting to be so big.

She had a lot of ideas for Birthday presents. She wanted Legos, a Baby Alive and more but we stuck to Legos and a Baby Alive.

O.K. she also wanted a Piggy Bank. I found this cute one at the dance store. She was with me and begged for it. So, I bought it for her and saved it for her B-day. It was our little secret for about 10 minutes.
Halle has been asking for this doll that (pees) for 2 years. I was hoping that she would forget about it. I refused to buy a doll that pees. Well, if you know Becky K. (my sister-in-law) ask her about her Cabbage Patch Doll. Becky finally got her C.P.D. when she was a teenager. I was trying to prevent that from happening so I just gave in and bought the sweet peeing little doll. She loved it and watched it pee for hours.

Wow! Look at it PEE! Cheap entertainment. (Halle and Nyah)

Halle doesn't like cake or frosting. (CRAZY!) Every year I go to Kohler's and buy her a giant glazed donut that she eats all by herself (just like her mom, except I do it in the closet).

They're here!

Please just pretend that there isn't 20 pictures on this post. I have been waiting for a month to get these pictures back. It has been killing me. I love getting my girls pictures taken. They are a lot more photogenic then me or Jason. We had a picture of just the two of us taken and it didn't even make the CD. How sad! So, here are a few of my favorite pictures. Sorry if it is a little out of control. I just can't help it.

If you just fell asleep, I apologize.

This is how I find joy, my girls!

Family Pictures!

We just got home from Sun Valley this afternoon. After going to Costco, doing laundry, mowing the lawn and reseeding the back yard (I'll explain later) I just happened to see if we had any mail and we did, our pictures were in the mail. I've been waiting for a month, you could say I was getting a little anxious. I'll post the cute ones of my girls tomorrow.
P.S. Why didn't anyone tell me that the dress I am wearing is NOT flattering! Hello! I was so worried about what to put the kids in I guess I forgot to look in the mirror. Jason asked me if I had ever looked in the mirror before we went for pictures. Thanks sweety, that was your job. I guess we will have to do pictures again next year and next time I will look in the mirror.

Good times!

We went to the Children's Museum at the Gateway. The kids played in the museum for hours then we went to the fountains. It was so blazing hot that we stayed there for about 30 minutes.

This is Halle jumping in the air trying not to get wet.

This is the crew, A.J., Hunter, Lauren, Micaela and Halle. Shirlene and I were asleep on the bench, frying in the sun. It's hard having as much energy as these sweet little darlings. I thought they would go to bed and be exhausted. Instead of being exhausted they planned a late night for Thursday and invited 15 neighbor girls to come over and play night games.
Stay tuned for that!

4th of July Parade

We went to the 4th of July parade in Provo. My friend Shirlene went to Provo and saved us spots for the parade. Thank You Shirlene!

Hunter and Lauren are the best of friends. They are so funny together. Lauren is quiet and silly, Hunter is wild and crazy. They are a perfect match.

Halle and Micaela are goofs too. They both love to dance around the house.

The girls all have cameras. They were taking pictures of EVERYTHING. Before the parade started they had filled up their cards.

More pictures of the girls taking pictures.
My favorite float in the parade is the one where all the missionaries walk the parade. They are so cute and YOUNG. Way to go missionaries.

It literally rained on our parade. To stay positive, (it's been a goal of mine) the rained cooled us off!

We survived another parade. We will be back next year (if Shirlene will fight for another spot). Jason was there too, but he was in the back packing things up getting ready to beat the traffic. Good job Jason.
Happy 4th of July!

FHE up A.F. Canyon

We went up A.F. canyon for FHE on Monday.

Jason is starting to learn how to pose with the girls. It's kind of scary.

Jason is checking out the map. He was on the hunt for some deer or anything that moves.

Halle

Hunter said she wouldn't wear those goggles because they weren't in fashion. After she put them on she wouldn't take them off.

I can't stop laughing at this picture. Are moms the only ones that laugh at BAD pictures- like this one.
I love riding the rhino up the canyon. I could this every Monday night.
