4th of July Parade

We went to the 4th of July parade in Provo. My friend Shirlene went to Provo and saved us spots for the parade. Thank You Shirlene!

Hunter and Lauren are the best of friends. They are so funny together. Lauren is quiet and silly, Hunter is wild and crazy. They are a perfect match.

Halle and Micaela are goofs too. They both love to dance around the house.

The girls all have cameras. They were taking pictures of EVERYTHING. Before the parade started they had filled up their cards.

More pictures of the girls taking pictures.
My favorite float in the parade is the one where all the missionaries walk the parade. They are so cute and YOUNG. Way to go missionaries.

It literally rained on our parade. To stay positive, (it's been a goal of mine) the rained cooled us off!

We survived another parade. We will be back next year (if Shirlene will fight for another spot). Jason was there too, but he was in the back packing things up getting ready to beat the traffic. Good job Jason.
Happy 4th of July!

FHE up A.F. Canyon

We went up A.F. canyon for FHE on Monday.

Jason is starting to learn how to pose with the girls. It's kind of scary.

Jason is checking out the map. He was on the hunt for some deer or anything that moves.

Halle

Hunter said she wouldn't wear those goggles because they weren't in fashion. After she put them on she wouldn't take them off.

I can't stop laughing at this picture. Are moms the only ones that laugh at BAD pictures- like this one.
I love riding the rhino up the canyon. I could this every Monday night.

Happy Birthday Halle!

Here are a few things about Halle-
1. She hates cake, frosting and ice-cream. For her B-day she wants a giant donut from Kohlers.
2. She has a great imagination. You can only believe half of her stories. My mom once called and congratulated me on the twins and asked about the house we were building in Salt Lake. None of it true. We like to think she is creative (not lying).
3. She loves to wear her red boots. She even wears them with her shorts or to the pool.
4. She loves to cuddle and hug her family. She actually loves to touch and cuddle with anyone. We are working on that too!
5. She will hop in the bath without being told and will get ready for bed. Sometimes she does this around 3:00pm. I think she gets that from her dad or Grandma Nan.
6. Halle gets up early in the morning and does her jobs without being told. Sometimes when Hunter gets in trouble and Halle will help her with her jobs too.

Halle is a fun, energetic, sweet girl.

Here are a few pictures of Halle when she was born.

We sometimes call Halle "Monkey" now you know why. Check out her hair. It was out of control. I should have put it in some braids or something.

We put Halle in her carseat, and watched her for hours.

Halle in her blessing dress. I loved her dress. After Jason gave Halle her blessing he was supposed to hold her up, which he did for about 1 second. I am still a little ticked off about that.

Happy Birthday Halle!!

Happy Father's Day!

Here are a few things that I love about Jason-

1. He is patient. Or he used to be, he said dating me used up all of his patience.

2. He is a great cook. He has taught me everything I know-at least he likes to think.

3. He is super OCD= clean clean clean. He cleans the toilet every time he uses it.

4. He has better taste in clothing then I do. He brought me out of the "Grunge Look".

5. He has great hygiene. He introduced the hunting world to "wet wipes".

6. He is extremely cheerful in the mornings (who in there right mind is cheerful in the mornings?)

7. He is a hard worker. When we got married my dad said to make sure he likes to work. Great advice dad! He gets up every morning when it's still dark and gets dressed in the family room so he doesn't wake up his girls.

8. He is always on time. He doesn't just yell for us to get ready or sits in the car and honk. He helps the girls get dressed and helps me get my jewelry on, and then picks out my shoes and has them setting by the door.

9. He loves girls. I know Jason would do flips if he had a boy, but he has taught Hunter and Halle everything he knows about hunting, gun safety, scouting for deer, elk and other animals.

10. Jason is the BEST!

This is Jason's dad. I am sure Jason learned how to be a great father from his dad. Thanks Grandpa Dave!

This is my dad "PaPa Kent". He has taught me a lot of great things. Here are only a few.

1. If your not 5 minutes early, your late!

2. Honesty-down to the penny.

3. Clean as you go.

4. Don't ask someone to do something your not willing to do yourself.

5. Coke not Pepsi.

I could not pick just one of my dad. I didn't have a digital camera when he was alive. So I cherish the pictures I do have.

This was the last picture I took of my dad. It was 2 weeks before he died. Go Broncos!

Happy Father's Day!

Did it make the cut?

Get excited. We had family picture taken yesterday. It is a huge stress for me.
Matching outfits (but not too matching)
Trimmed hair (but not too trimmed)
Smiles (but not too smiley)
Glitter toes (but not Jason)
This is one of the outfits I thought would be cute . . . stay tunes to see if it made the cut.

We are fun!

We went camping again. It was a lot of fun. I didn't realize it was going to be so cold. So, Halle had to borrow her cousins pants. I thought we would be fine in short. I'm learning. I hate to over pack clothes. That means that I will have to do more laundry when we get home!

These are the fun things we do when we go camping.
1. Taking rides on the Rhino. FUN!

2. Jason doing all of the cooking. Way FUN!

3. The kids playing their D.S. games and getting along great! Miracle

4. Shooting their pink gun. Jason loves it!

5. Hanging out with the cousins. They are the funniest kids ever.
(We had to borrow pants from Fisher) Thank you Fisher and Melinda

6. Another thing we do is pose for the camera. It makes me happy!

7. We have a lot of fun camping with the family. Hopefully the kids love it as much as we do!

Kindergarten Graduation

This is Halle with her teacher Mrs. Williams. She was such a great teacher. If I had another child I would hope that he would have her for his teacher. She was awesome.

This is the proud mother and her sweet daughter. I can't believe she is going to be in 1st grade.

These are the boys in our neighborhood that we carpooled with. They were so excited to be in the same class with each other.

The Kindergarten program was so adorable. They were all so cute and happy. Halle had a part at the end of the program "We will have a short reception following". We practiced her part 50 times. She did a great job!
