Happy Birthday Jason!

Jason is a great husband and father. We want him to know how much we love him. Thanks for going to all of the dance concerts without a single complaint. And paying for all the dance lessons and costumes, with only a little complaining.

This is what Jason got for his birthday. This is another thing we love about Jason. He loves to cook and clean up his mess. Yeah for me!

This will truly tell you how much we love Jason. These two deer hang on the wall in our kitchen. Now, if that isn't love for your husband then I don't know what is!

100 puppies and kids?

Halle says some crazy things that make us all laugh.
This was our conversation yesterday on our way to dance.
Hunter said, "Mom, do you think I will get asked to the prom?"
I said, "Yes!"
Halle said, "I don't care if I don't get asked to the prom, I will just take one of my puppies to the prom, I am having one hundred puppies".
Halle also tells us she is going to have 100 kids, mostly teenagers. The teenagers will do all the work in the house and she can sit and watch T.V. She said she is going to adopt most of them.
Then she told me this morning that she wasn't going to have a husband. I asked her why. She said with all the kids she is going to have, she wasn't going to have time for a husband. I told her that her husband could help her with her kids. She still doesn't think she needs one.
Maybe Jason needs some alone time with Halle.

Dr. Seuss Days

This week was Dr. Seuss week. Halle had fun activities all week. This day was crazy sock day. I wish I would have gotten a picture with her socks in it.

This was crazy hair day. I put ponies in her hair and then braided it and then put ribbons in it. What would I have done if I had two boys? I love doing my girls hair.

This is a view from behind. The poor kid that sat behind her in school probably couldn't see the chalk board that day.

This was wear your p.j.'s to school day. This was after school, she added the head band and the high heeled shoes after she came home.

More Dance

Halle and Grandama Nan waiting for the next performance.

Hunter and Kennadi are both a lot of fun. When they get together there is a lot of noise and energy in the room (their poor teacher).

Grandma Char, Becky and Hema came to watch the girls perform. Isn't Hema adorable? Thanks for coming to the performance!

Benefit Concert

Hunter and Halle had a dance performance last night. It was for a girl that was born with Spina Bifida? They raised money for her. It turned out to be a great night. This is Hunter in her hip hop dance. This sure makes Jason happy to see his daughter with a bandanna wrapped around her head.

Hunter is on the left side posing.

Jason gets a free pass this weekend for taking such a great shot of Hunter. I couldn't have done better myself. Her teacher said she has great legs, (like her mother) JK.

This is Halle holding up her leg. She loves to perform.

If you get the chance ask Halle to shimmy, it is so funny.

Everyday Halle gets home from school, she runs in the door screaming, "I'm hungry!" I have to have her lunch ready on the table or there will be a major melt down.

This is the first day it has been warm enough to have a picnic. Yeah for 50 degree weather.

Halle

It was hat day at school on Friday. Halle loves to wear this hat any chance she gets.
Halle is so much fun to have in our family. Here are a few things that I love about Halle.

1. She is always in a good mood in the mornings. She jumps out of bed and is ready to go.
2. She will eat anything except, avocadoes and carrotts. She asked me last night to make her gulosh. It's a long story.
3. She loves to give kisses or hugs.
4. She is going to be good mom some day. She takes great care of her dolls.
5. She is the best cuddler.
6. She has the best cartwheels ever!
7. When I give her a cleaning job she runs to get it done, and she does a great job.

I could go on and on, but I don't want to brag!

Jason's New Love!

There are many reasons we have never finished our basement. This is one of the many. We have in indoor shooting range in our basement. Jason shoots from one end of our house to the other end.

Today I was memorizing scriptures in my room when I heard a loud thud. I knew immediately what the loud noise was. It wasn't Hunter or Halle falling off their beds or a door slamming, it was my dear husband shooting his new bow.

If you want to know what makes Jason happy, just look at his face when he is shooting his bow.
The only thing that makes him happier is when Hunter or Halle asks him when they can get a bow of their own.

I know people sometimes brag on their blogs. I would never do that, but in case you don't know anything about hunting or shooting bows, this is a bullseye. Not just 1 but 4. I'm not bragging!
