Day 2- Fall Break- Gardner's Village

Gardner's Village this year was hot and crazy. I would have to say half of Utah was there. It was fun but crowded.

We brought bread to feed the ducks, but I think that they had so much bread that they were about to explode.

Sierra, Hunter and Halle posing. I wish that my photography class would have helped me a little more. I am so clueless.

It is a family tradition to go there every year, but we may be changing that tradition.

Well. . . by the time it rolls around next year we will have forgotten the madness.

Fall Break- Day 1- Hee Haw Farms

We went to Hee Haw Farms today with the Edwards. We have been friends with the Edwards for 6 years. They live a few houses away from us. When the Edwards first moved in my mom saw Margot (the mom) mowing the lawn with Isaac (2 years old) on her hip. I would do the same thing with Hunter. My mom knew right then that we would be good friends. Margot is as weird as I am about being with her kids. She doesn't like to leave them either.

Halle thinks this is her picture for her wedding announcement. She thinks Luke is so cute. She is always touching his hair. Seriously, I have no idea where she gets it.

Hunter is friends with Isaac. They have been in the same class at school for 3 years. I don't know how Hunter is pulling that one off. Isaac is very smart, he wants to be a doctor. If Hunter is smart she will write him while he is on his mission.

Leaving the Farm.
One day down and five left to go! We love Fall Break!

Good Job Grandma!

Halle slept at my mom's house last Saturday night before Conference. When they got up the next morning my mom was taking her medicine. Halle asked her what she was doing. My mom said that she was just taking her medicine. Halle gave her a thumbs up and said, "Good job Grandma, thanks for trying." Halle is a fun girl to have in our family. She keeps us laughing.

It's Fall!

Jason keeps telling me to update our blog. We have nothing going on right now in our lives which is good (sometimes). So, I will tell you what I did yesterday. I put up all of our Halloween decorations and pulled up half of my flowers in the front yard. It is very sad day when the flowers come up, because I know what is coming . . . WINTER!!! YUCK! I dread winter!

Photo Class 101 continued

I couldn't upload any more pictures so I started over with Hunter.
I didn't want Hunter to feel left out of the photo shoot.

Photo Class 101

Due to the fact that both of my children are in school and I am feeling very sad about it, Jason thought it would be good if I found a hobby. So, I signed up for a photography class. I learned things about the camera that I didn't know existed. But, now I am more confused than ever.
The next time you get your kids pictures taken and you write out a huge check and think it is out of control the amount of money you are spending, it is well worth every red cent! It is a lot harder than you think!
