4th of July 2011

This is the new way to watch parades. We were in an air conditioned building looking down on the common folk, watching the 4th of July parade. The best ever!

We went with our friends hiking after the parade. It was so much fun.

Check out the Poppy. I love poppies. I want this poppy in my yard. If you see me in jail for digging up flowers in the forest, bail me out.

Try and keep up with those two guys.

Here is the rest of the crew trying to keep up with Jason and Ryan.

We hiked 3/4 of the way up before we had to turn back because someone had fallen off the waterfall. So we turned around and had lunch at a little park on the side of the road.

We started up again and finally reached the top.

- The Speirs

Hunter had to find a bush to potty in, Jason was helping her.

-The Murdock Crew

What is Halle wearing? It was almost as bad as the polygamist in their jeans and dresses that were hiking too.

The weather was great on the way up but it was a little hot on the way down. Scotty was done. Cami is concerned about her hair.

On the way down the Murdock Crew had a few minor problems.
I got to help carry Lola down the mountain. She is the cutest thing on earth. If I could kidnap that baby with out going to jail, I just might do it.

We finally made it down. It was so much fun. I love hiking in the mountains. It was great. I hope that this will be our new 4th of July tradition.
I will be calling you, Cami and Summer so don't hide from me. Get excited!

The Farm

For FHE we went out to Grandma and Grandpa Hawkins Farm with the Barlow girls.
Jason is showing off his skills.

Halle and Hunter take horseback riding lessons so they were professionals.

Micaela

Lauren

Hunter loves riding.

These two girls are so goofy together, but I love it. You are only a kid once.

Halle loves the swing too.

Then we went to a neighbors house that has KANGAROOS! The girls were a little nervous but then they were super excited.

Cute baby kangaroo. We did a lot of petting and sneezing. The girls wont stop talking about it and asking when they can go back. I think the girls would like to live at The Farm.

Halle's Baptism

It was a great day for a baptism. Halle was beautiful and ready to become a member of the Church.

I have to say the day couldn't have gone better. Our family and friends were there supporting us. We have the best families and friends ever. Thank You for all of your support.

I always do things backwards- this is the "brunch" after Halle's Baptism.

Double Threat!!

Grandma Nan and Grandma Char both helped out at the baptism. Grandma Nan lead the songs, and Grandma Char played the piano. I guess the girls get their abilities from both sides of the family.

Halle- Sparkly Clean!!

Half of the Robison Boys

Summer played her guitar for the baptism, and Cora just looked adorable.

This is the dessert table. Cami told me it is never to early in the morning for dessert. AMEN SISTER!

Hawkins before the baptism.

Halle and Jason

Halle getting psyched for the big moment.

Halle and Mom

Jason and Halle

Herlevi's and the Hawkins

The girls all played their instruments; guitar, violin and piano. I am grateful for such talented neices and daughters. Keep up the practicing.

It is great to be 8!

Happy Birthday Halle!!!

Hunter checking out her new little sister.

Halle on her Blessing day.

Halle eating Cafe Rio.

Getting ready for church.

Halle being an angel.

Grandma was tending Halle and let Halle go out in the sun without sunscreen, bad Grandma!

4th of July

Easter

Dance Recital

Swim Meet

Hanging out

Showing off her newest sewing project.

Halle is 8! She is very talented and very fun to be around.

One thing that I love about Halle is that she is a super good babysitter. She doesn't have anyone at home to watch but she is awesome watching other kids. People always comment on how nice she is with their little ones. She has said she would like to have 100 kids when she groes up, so that they can do all the work while she watched T.V.

Another thing about Halle is that whatever she tries she does well at it. She is very talented.

She is also a good cleaner. She gets up early in the morning and does her jobs and is ready for the day before Hunter is out of bed.

Halle also loves her Grandma Nan. Halle loves to go hang out with grandma and give her facials and pedicures. She will also rub her back and feet for a small price.

We are super excited to for Halle to be baptized in the next few weeks. She is trying to get all of her teasing out, because she knows that she can't tease after she is Baptized!!!

WE LOVE YOU HALLE!!

Swim Meet #1

Halle and Hunter are on the swim team this year. This was the first meet of the season.
Hunter improved on all 3 of her stokes. She cut off 2o seconds on each of her races.

Halle also improved on her times. Her arms were like little motors when she swam the freestyle.

This is Halle's favorite stroke, the breast stroke. She is so cute when she does it.

Hunter is usually smiling when she swims or she is looking around for Lauren, to see where she is.

These 3 girls were cheering each other on. They are good cheerleaders!

These 2 are good goof balls!

Almost done! The meet started at 4:00 and we were finally done at 8:30. Holy cow, I feel like I was running another 1/2 marathon. One swim meet done, three to go.
