Do you like this look?

We need a new refridgerator.

It keeps leaking.

I hate buying stuff like this, I want something fun like a treadmill.

I guess it's good, no food means no working out on the treadmill.

We are falling apart at our house.

Good by my friend

My treadmill died yesterday. I received this treadmill when I was 15 years old. I have walked many miles on this treadmill. As I was slowing down to go get off my treadmill to go get a donut my treadmill made the worst sound ever. It sounded like the garbage disposal was eating a spoon or something. I almost wanted to cry. I loved this treadmill. We've been through a lot of good times and bad times together.

Whenever I watch the Biggest Loser I have made a rule that I have to be on the treadmill. I feel like Bob or Jillian will come crashing through the doors if I'm not on it. What is going to happen tonight at 7:00pm.

Some fond memories of my treadmill-
-Every time I wanted to speed up or slow down I would have to get off the TM, turn off the TM, and then start it up again. I couldn't change speeds in the middle of a work out.
-I would also get shocked if I put my hand on a certain spot on the hand rails.
-I also couldn't take my hands of the handrails or it would speed up to 10 and would shut off.
-I would make a rule that I could only watch certain T.V. shows while I was on the treadmill.
1. The Biggest Loser
2. 24
3. The Modern Family
4. The Amazing Race
The only way I could watch these shows was if I was working out. It made work out!
I don't know what my parents paid for this TM, but I got a good 20 years of service.
Good by my friend- Hello stretchy pants!
If you have a treadmill and you love it please let me know. I need a new one ASAP!

Happy B-day Dad!

My dad would have turned 65 years old today. We would be having a BBQ with steaks and baked potatoes. My dad loved a good BBQ.

I was thinking about him last night and a thought popped into my head. I know where Hunter and her cousin Summer get their acting abilities, also known as DRAMA. They have inherited that trait from my dad. If my dad stubbed his toe or hit his knee, he would fall to the ground, holding his leg or knee, and rock back and forth until we threatened to call Life Flight. We would try not to laugh, but it was hard. He was so dramatic.

He once went to the emergency room with a minor cut from his pocket knife. He walked in the ER and no one paid any attention to him so he grabbed his leg and yelled, "I've been stabbed!" Everyone in the ER came running. I think he ended up with a band-aid, but he sure got some attention and fast service.

We miss him a lot! I wish my girls would have been able to spend more time with Papa Kent. The good thing is they get to spend A LOT of time with Grandma Nan. So, were happy about that. I'm wondering what trait they have inherited from Grandma Nan. HHMMMM?

March Maddness!

Halle lost her tooth at school yesterday. She was hoping to lose it at school. She had it all planned out. She is super funny about getting attention at school. Halle is sort of shy about certain things but then out of nowhere she is a WILD WOMEN. She has always wanted to lose a tooth at school and have her name said over the intercom. She has accomplished one of her goals this year.

March Madness is MADDENING! Don't get me wrong I love a good Basketball game, I love 2OT Basketball games, but this is maddening.

This is how we eat dinner during March Madness. ALONE!

This is some of my homemade wheat bread. I was watching Oprah the other day and a man was explaining how bad white bread is for you. He said it was like eating a candy bar. So I am trying to make wheat bread once a week. The recipe I have is so good. I will make 5 loaves. That is enough for an entire week. If Jason will stop handing it out like candy we should be just fine.

To prove to my friends that I really grind my own wheat, here is my bucket of wheat. I have already gone through one bucket of wheat. (In the last year)

If you want the recipe I will give it to you for a price! JK.

Yes, more dance!

Hunter has always wanted a tiara, a sash and a trophy. Now that she has all three, we are done with dance solos. Halle asked when she can do a solo, I told her when dad finds time to get another job!

This is Little Hema. He came and watched Hunter perform her solo. He was so funny. Look at his big eyes. I hope he wasn't traumatized by all those GIRLS! His little sister Vela was super sick with ear aches and they still came to watch Hunts. Thank You Becky, and especially Hema.

Hunter and Halle's friends Lauren and Micaela came to watch too. Thank You!

This is Shauna, Hunters dance teacher. She is the best dancer I've ever seen. She is ripped. Jason and I saw her dance a few years ago, and Jason was wondering if she works out a lot. Umm YEAH!
I try and fatten her up with treats but it's not working. The only one fattening up is me. What is going on? I guess dancing from 8am-10pm is a good work out!

Hallelujah

One word... Hallelujah!
I told Halle if she was going to keep all this "STUFF" in her room she was going to have to make it look nice and clean. I think she did a good job. "Stuff" drives me nuts.

There is an old dingy looking lion on the side of the lamb. That lion was mine when I was little. I slept with it until I was twelve. My mom kept it and showed Halle. Halle thinks it is awesome. I called it "Bear". I actually thought it was a bear. I have always had problems with things like that, I call nickels 5 cent pieces. I can't tell the difference between Lions and Tigers.

I know I have problems.

Dance! Dance! Dance!
I live for this stuff. I thank Heavenly Father every day for 2 GIRLS! Yippee! Hunter has her solo competition tonight. And then her group competition tomorrow. We should be done around 10:30pm.

Excedrin! Excedrin! Excedrin!
And Miss Sassy Pants has her performance tonight and her competition tomorrow morning.
